Current Events

On October 3rd, 2008 President Bush signed into law the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.  Commonly called a Wall Street "bailout" package, the law included an extension of the charitable IRA rollover.  The IRA rollover was originally enacted as part of the Pension Protection Act of 2006, and was effective only during 2006 and 2007.  With the new law, Congress has extended the rollover legislation through 2008 and 2009.  Click below to read NCPG's press release.
